Praising God Each Day

“For this I will praise you,

O Lord, among the nations,

and sing praises to your name.”

2 Samuel 22:50

Each morning this week as I have had my devotions I have noticed a common theme: Thankfulness and Praise. Each day was a different devotion by a different person and each day had a different verse, but each one spoke on the same subject each time.

Some might say that was just “coincidence or chance.” I do not believe in either one of those things. I believe when God has a message for you that He will continue to give it to you until you recognize it and learn from it.

I thought it might be fun since it is Friday and everyone is headed into the end of the work week, to take some time to praise God and to thank Him for all of His many blessings on us.

I would like to encourage you to share your comments here so we can all enjoy praising God together. The neat thing about sharing this way is that we do not even have to be together in one place to praise God, but some day, if we have accepted Jesus into our hearts, we will all get to praise Him together for eternity!

Has God done a great work in your life? Has he brought you through a trial you never thought you could face? Is there someone for whom you are thankful today, and you want to thank God for bringing them into your life? Let us take time today to stop and thank God for each of those things. We have so much to be thankful for and we ought to praise God no matter what the day brings.

I am so thankful for all the blessings that God has bestowed upon me. I have been blessed with a wonderful husband and three beautiful children. I am thankful today that my Heavenly Father loved me so much that He sent His Son to die on a cross for my sins. I am thankful today that I am promised a home in Heaven some day.

I also want to give praise and honor to God for the opportunity and the ability to share with you each day. What a blessing it is to get to encourage each other through God’s word. Thank you all for being a part of this blessing and sharing in it with me. I pray that this ministry will continue to grow and that God will forever remain in the center of it all.
